Danny Dwyer is a final year medical student interested in pre-hospital and critical care. He first joined the committee 4 years ago PCP Officer. Danny is currently a Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, and will be starting FY1 as a Navy doctor in 2019. Outside medicine Danny in involved in the Motorsport society and represents King’s in the British Universities Karting Championship.
VICE PRESIDENT/PCP LEAD
Jess is a fourth year medical student and her interests include emergency medicine, prehospital & wilderness medicine, anaesthetics, and cardiothoracic surgery. Outside of medicine she enjoys running, travelling, anything harry potter, and gin. Jess is also a Volunteer Emergency Responder for the London Ambulance Service in her spare time.
Elsa is a third-year medical student interested in Emergency Medicine, Military Medicine, Paediatrics and Embryology. Outside of medicine Elsa races for the GB luge team at the World Cup. She is also in the RAF University Air Squadron.
Charlotte is a final year medical student and her interests include emergency medicine, PHEM and anaesthetics. Outside of medicine, Charlotte enjoys taekwondo, sketching, and walking her dog. Now on her third year on the committee, Charlotte is responsible for all things money.
I’m Laurel, in my fourth year of medicine at GKT with an interest in eventually specialising in trauma surgery, hopefully in the Navy. Outside of medicine you’ll find me in the pool either teaching swimming or doing a few lengths myself. If I’m not in the pool I’m in the pub!

Aditi is a fourth-year medical student with interests in Emergency Medicine & Pre-hospital care. She manages the KCLEMS website and helps run the PCP. Outside of medicine, Aditi plays tennis and dances. She is also a Volunteer Emergency Responder with the London Ambulance Service.
Lewis is currently in his fourth year of Medicine and is now in his third year on the committee. His main interests are in pre-hospital emergency medicine and critical care. Lewis volunteers with the London Ambulance Service in his free time. Outside of medicine he is part of the Officer Training Corps and enjoys cycling.
Josh is a final-year medical student and has been on the committee for 4 years, his last role being President. He has recently completed a BSc in Urgent & Emergency Care in ED at King’s College Hospital. His clinical interests include EM/PHEM, Anaesthetics, and Obs & Gynae. Outside of medicine, Josh is involved in music and theatre.
Abby is a final-year medical student and is new to the EMS committee. Abby is interested in EM, ENT and Paediatrics. Outside of medicine, Abby likes running, travelling and eating lots of pasta
Danny Johnson is a second-year medical student who prior to this trained as an Operating Department Practitioner specialising in Anaesthesia. He therefore he has a keen interest in this specialty alongside Emergency Medicine and still works as a practitioner at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. Now in his second year on the committee, Danny is responsible for helping with the organisation of the societies events. Outside of medicine he enjoys playing his guitar.
Jonny is a second year medical student having joined the EMS in his first year wanting to find out more about EM. He comes to GKT as a physiology grad from Bristol where he learned the best way to get involved is to throw yourself into something wholeheartedly. Having spend some time working in healthcare since graduating, he sure he want a career in medicine where every day is very different… maybe EM is the answer?
Jake is the BSc Nursing Student Lead on the EMS committee in his final year of nursing, He has worked in the healthcare environment for almost 2 years as a phlebotomist and wardtheatre HCA. Jake has also travelled to Ghana to work in a Regional A&E department for 2 months.
Anna is a final-year medical student joining the Royal Navy after graduation, hoping to specialise in anaesthetics/intensive care. Outside of medicine, she is a keen musician (playing clarinet, oboe and saxophone) and also enjoys surfing and sailing.
Antonia is a final-year medical student on her first year on the EMS committee. Antonia describes her interests as competitive sudoku, GKT comedy revue and gin.
Ben is a second year medical student on his first year on the EMS committee. Ben’s interests are EM, orthopaedics and radiology. Outside medicine, his interests include music, sketch comedy and hiking.
Louise is a third-year medical student. Having previously sat on the committee as President and PCP Lead, she has a love for all things emergency medicine. Outside of medicine Louise’s favourite things are whiskey, her poncy Gerberian Shepsky hybrid and skydiving.
