COMMITTEE 2022 - 23
Hi! I'm Jack and I'm really excited to be co-president with Shruti this year. Aside from being a graduate in biomedical science, I also work part-time as a Physician Associate amd I am very passionate about widening access to medical school. My A&E story: 2 year old me cutting my head open on a table. Doctor asks how I did it... Innocent me said "my Dad did it". Hello Safeguarding!
Hello! This year I'll be Co-President along with Jack and I can't wait for all the exciting things the society have in store for you all! Aside from being a Biomedical Sciences grad from Sheffield, I am very passionate about all things EM, PHEM and Anaesthetics! My A&E story: When I was 11, I fell through a window & ended up half in the school and half in the lunch hall! Definitely didn't anticipate my 'hanger' would lead to 8 stiches!!
Hello! I am Siam, a 4th year medic, and I am excited to be involved in the EM Soc for another year! My A&E story: In Year 8, I kicked my friend on the butt for fun, but in return he kicked my face so hard I thought I broke my jaw. I went to A&E and told my mum I was playing football and someone accidentally kicked my head instead of the ball!
Hello! I am Aqeel and I am third year medic and entering my second year on EMS! My A&E story: Most embarrasing injury for me has to be when I broke my wrist whilst skipping!
Hi! I am Josh and I am an intercalating Anatomy student! My A&E Story: I ran into a door when I was younger and cut my head on the handle. Let us hope EMS doesn't have to see that this year!
Hi, I'm Razna! I am a 4th year medic and this is my 3rd year on the EMS Committee! Whenever I have a spare minute, I can be found sipping bubble tea & catching sunsets on walks by the Thames. Never had a really bad injury tbf - I just bruise really easily!!
Hi! My name is Rhi and I am a 4th year medic! My A&E story: I ripped a knee ligament skiing and I had to be rescued off the mountain in a body bag! To this day, I am not sure if it was my ACL or MCL because I couldn't speak French and the doctors didn't speak much English!
Hi! I am Cristina and I am an intercalting medic in Anaesthetics & Critical Care! I can't wait to create some new and exciting events in EMS! My A&E story: Worst injury was when I broke my chin because I hit my brothers head on a water slide!
